I've always hated these "About Me" sections. I feel if I talk too much about myself, I'll be labelled self-centered and vain. If I don't say enough, I'm closed off or not personable. Oprah once said: "If people tell you who they are, believe them". Truer words have never been spoken. I've learned that I can't please everyone, nor is it my job to. I've learned not everyone will like me and that's OK because my self worth is not indicative of who accepts me for me and who doesn't. I don't like drama and prefer to rise above unnecessary bullshit, so if you plan to bring your negativity my way, it really says more about YOU than it does ME. I love to write in my spare time and I'll write anything from a diary entry to a short story to an album review or artist biography. I'm usually the one my friends and family turn to for advice on various topics. It's a shame I can't always follow my own advice, tho - lol.
